Struggling to remove invasive black locust? Looking to get outside and help a local landowner restore their wetland? Join Kathryn and Daniel for a two-part restoration event hosted at the Blue Farm! We’ll start our morning with a demonstration of techniques for removing black locust, and then make our way to the seeps/springs area of the conservation easement to remove invasive species.
Come for whichever part of the event interests you! The black locust removal training will start at 10, and the restoration work day will start at 11. There will be hot drinks and snacks available before, during, and after the event to keep us warm.
Directions: Follow the long driveway all the way to the garage and take a left to the parking area by the paddocks. We’ll meet by the garage and walk to the sites together.
