Art of the Land Fundraiser

Experience exceptional artwork, beautiful photography, unique artisan items, friendship, fun and more, all in support of land preservation in McHenry County!

Art of the Land will take place at The Starline Factory in Harvard Friday, Nov. 18 and Saturday, Nov. 19, 2022 from 6:30-10:00 p.m.

Call for Artists

The 2022 Art of the Land Call for Artists is now open!

Art of the land is a juried show. Works included in the show should reflect the theme:

“Art that reflects or is inspired by the local landscape and all it provides.”

Jury fee for artists: $25 for up to five entries. 
There is no jury fee for artisans. 

ArtisansNew for 2022: In order to simplify the payment process, each artisan will pay a flat booth
fee of $150 once accepted to the show. TLC will no longer keep a percentage of items

The deadline to apply is Sunday, Oct. 9, 2022.

Volunteers receive free admission to Art of the Land! A variety of volunteer positions will be available, including welcoming guests, serving food, hanging art and more!  Please stay tuned for volunteer opportunities for the 2022 show.

About Art of the Land:

Art of the Land raises awareness of TLC and the work it does. TLC is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to the conservation and preservation of our most valuable and threatened heritage – our McHenry County landscape. TLC’s mission is to preserve natural, agricultural and scenic land in perpetuity in McHenry County by working with individuals, communities and other partners. TLC has preserved over 2,800 acres within McHenry County. Art of the Land is one of TLC’s major fundraising events of the year, and proceeds help support land conservation here in McHenry County. All art considered for this event must be consistent with the theme of the event: .

 “Art that reflects or is inspired by the local landscape and all it provides.”
