Art of the Land Fundraiser

Experience exceptional artwork, beautiful photography, unique artisan items, friendship, fun and more, all in support of land preservation in McHenry County!

Art of the Land will take place at The Starline Factory in Harvard Friday, Nov. 19 and Saturday, Nov. 20, 2021 from 6:30-10:00 p.m.

Ticket prices: 
$15 per night, $25 for a two-day pass
Tickets at the door: $20

We are excited to welcome everyone back to the beautiful Starline Factory for an in-person event! Art of the Land is TLC’s biggest event of the year, and all proceeds support land preservation in McHenry County. 

Tickets: If you purchased your ticket online, you can show it on your phone or print it out. As you enter The Starline Factory, head for the Prepaid Admission table.

If you received a printed ticket from TLC, head for the Prepaid Admission table as you enter the Starline.

You can purchase a ticket onsite at the event for $20 or in advance for $15 at the link above. 

Masks: Masks are required at this event per the Illinois Department of Public Health, except when eating or drinking. We thank you in advance for your cooperation with these guidelines!

Artwork: All artwork is available for purchase and makes a unique holiday gift (for yourself or someone special)! And TLC receives 30 percent of the proceeds from art sales.

Artisan Items: Some of your favorite artisans are back, and we have some new artisans as well! Check out the selection of hand-crafted jewelry, soaps, cards and more (think holiday gifts)! And TLC receives 30 percent of the proceeds from artisan sales.

Get poetry on the spot from our favorite team of local poets!

Predict your post-COVID future with Annamarie the Short Medium. Stop by her booth for a tarot card reading!

And a few other things: TLC’s beautiful Wolf Oak mugs handcrafted by Meaghan of Headwaters Pottery are back. Don’t forget to pick up a bag or two of delicious chocolates from Woodstock’s Ethereal Confections. And, as always, there will be friendship and fun as we gather to preserve land for life in McHenry County.

About Art of the Land:

Art of the Land raises awareness of TLC and the work it does. TLC is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to the conservation and preservation of our most valuable and threatened heritage – our McHenry County landscape. TLC’s mission is to preserve natural, agricultural and scenic land in perpetuity in McHenry County by working with individuals, communities and other partners. TLC has preserved over 2,800 acres within McHenry County. Art of the Land is one of TLC’s major fundraising events of the year, and proceeds help support land conservation here in McHenry County. All art considered for this event must be consistent with the theme of the event: .
