Beginner’s Chainsaw Training

Want to learn to chainsaw, but don’t know how to get started? Join TLC’s Ecologist, Megan Oropeza and Natural Land Institute’s Director of Stewardship, Zach Grycan, to learn the basics in a hands-on way. Participants will learn about protective equipment, basic chainsaw maintenance, and the development of technique to safely fell a tree and cut it up. This class is tailored toward beginners who have never used a chainsaw, and the fee includes lunch.
