Beginner’s Chainsaw Training

Want to learn to how to use a chainsaw, but don’t know how to get started? Join The Land Conservancy’s Ecologist, Megan Oropeza, and Natural Land Institute’s Director of Stewardship, Zach Grycan, to learn the basics in a hands-on way. Participants will be introduced to protective equipment, basic chainsaw maintenance, and the development of technique to safely fell a tree and cut it up. This class is tailored toward beginners who have never used a chainsaw, and the fee includes lunch.
