TLC is partnering with Curt from Friends of Cold Springs Park to help them get their restoration efforts off the ground!
The property is primarily made up of sedge meadow and wet prairies with sections of degraded woodlands as well. This once large, open wet grassland has been artificially drained to varying degrees and heavily pastured well into the past.
The primary goal of management here will be to reconnect and reopen these areas to resurrect the extensive wetland that once existed here.
