Cold Springs Park Restoration Workday

Come join Friends of Cold Springs Park to help them with their restoration efforts in their neighborhood woodland! The property is primarily made up of sedge meadow and wet prairies with sections of degraded woodlands as well. This once large, open wet grassland has been artificially drained to varying degrees and heavily pastured well into the past. The main goal of management here will be to reconnect and reopen these areas to resurrect the extensive wetland that once existed here.
