Country Ridge Restoration Workday

Located in the middle of residential subdivision, these 34.6 acres of open space, protected in perpetuity by a Conservation Easement, are designated for the preservation, and restoration, of its prairies, wetlands, and wet prairie elements. Divided into 3 separate areas, this natural area is a great way to connect the community with nature! This workday, we will begin the removal of the invasive brush in the eastern-most unit, that has taken over.
Directions: From the intersection of Dean St. and Rt. 14 in Woodstock, go north on Dean St. .1 miles. Turn right (east) onto Prairie Ridge Dr. Proceed for .7 miles and turn left (north) on Savanna Ln. and park along the road. Please, everyone park on the east side of the street as to not obstruct traffic.
