Donato Woods Restoration Workday

Join us for a morning of brush clearing fun at one of Woodstock’s many beautiful natural areas! This is a special little spot in the heart of Woodstock, though few people know about its botanical treasures. This workday will focus on clearing invasive brush along the eastern boundary of the preserve.
We’ll enter the conservation area at the new entrance; so, please park at the intersection of Gerry St. and Kimball. If you get there after the crew has left the parking area, head in and follow the sound of chainsaws.
Directions: from the square in downtown Woodstock, head south to South St. Turn right (west) and follow that for 0.3 miles. Turn left (south) onto Gerry St. and continue for 0.4 miles. Park along Gerry St. near Kimball. If you happen to arrive a little late just follow the smoke and the sound of chainsaws.
