CANCELLED – Final Friday Resoration Workday with Kim

Join Kim for a workday at one of our Conservation Easements in Chemung! Jack Kaskel has been doing work out there and we will continue those efforts! Cherry, buckthorn and honeysuckle are encroaching on a huge field of blood root and other spring ephemerals. The habitat consists of oak woodland with remnant oak!!
Directions: From route 14 and Dean St. in Woodstock: Take 14 West for 12.8 miles, turn left on 173 for 3.3 miles, turn right onto white oaks road for 0.5 miles, continue on white oaks road until you reach Perkins rd, turn left onto Perkins rd. the destination will be on your right. see the “Kennedy-McCluggage” entrance sign. Drive down the long driveway. You can park near the shelters at the end of the driveway. We won’t have to walk very far to get to our site.
