Gateway Nature Park Workday

This site is an 18-acre gem is the perfect “gateway” to Harvard with woodland, wetland, and prairie ecosystems. Tall spreading oak trees, the winding and meandering Rush Creek, and vibrant wetlands filled with wildflowers comprise this site. We will be clearing Buckthorn, Honeysuckle, Box Elder, and Mulberry; the usual culprits.
Directions: From the intersection of 23 and 14 in Harvard, go south on 23 and take the first right (west) onto Heritage Lane. Park on the side of the road.
