Gateway Park Restoration Workday

During this workday we could use your help removing a large oak that’s come down and is blocking a path in the small south wood lot near the parking area. We’ll have the mini skid available to move the large portions of trunk but it would be great to have folks move the smaller limbs and things. The woods could also use some attention as much of the brush is becoming thick and shading things out again so we’ll bring loppers and pruners for the smaller shrubbies.
Directions: From the intersection of 23 and 14 in Harvard, go south on 23 and take the first right (west) onto Heritage Lane. Park on the side of the road.
