Gateway Park Restoration Workday

This site is an 18 acre gem at the gateway to Harvard with woodland, wetland, and prairie ecosystems. Having just conducted a prescribed burn earlier this spring, now is the perfect time to attend to some brush removal. We will be clearing Buckthorn, Honeysuckle, Box Elder, and Mulberry – the usual culprits.
Directions: From the intersection of 23 and 14 in Harvard, go south on 23 and take the first right (west) onto Heritage Lane. Park on the side of the road.
