Irish Oaks Restoration Workday

We have to take a break from Crowley for a little while so we’re going to be switching to Irish Oaks to make up for some of the bad weather days we’ve had lately. We’ll be revisiting an area near the pond on the west end of the property to work on removing the buckthorn and honeysuckle that was passed over the first time around.

Directions: From Rt. 14 in Harvard, take Brink St east for 1.7 miles. Turn right (south) onto Schultz Rd and continue for 0.3 miles. Turn left (east) onto Lincoln Rd, and continue for 0.5 miles. The entrance to the site will be on the right (south) and is a gravel lane between a wooded fencerow and a hayfield. We’ll park at the kiosk and walk along the farm field.
