Main Stay Restoration Workday

Join Kathryn, our new Land Preservation Specialist, as she brings back Final Friday workdays at the Main Stay Therapeutic Farm in Richmond! This almost 40 acre picturesque easement is home to a Therapeutic Horse Farm as well as an Oak Savanna. The workday will consist of clearing invasive brush from under the Oaks.

*Note* All volunteers will have to sign a visitor’s release to work on the property. There will likely be animals in the vicinity since Main Stay is a horse farm, but they won’t be in the pasture we’re working in.

Directions: North of Wonder Lake, driving north on Keystone Road take a left into the parking lot. There is a sign for Main Stay Therapeutic Farm. We will walk back together through the facility and back into the natural easement area.
