Mariposa Meander Pollinator Garden – Weeding Workday

THIS IS A WEEDING WORKDAY so set down your chainsaws and loppers and grab your trowels! Several years ago, TLC partnered with the City of Woodstock to install this tranquil slice of nature, located next to Dick Tracy Park, for the community to enjoy. The main purpose of this workday is to weed out any undesirable plants, and to tidy up the edges. Native plants like to wander but we want to keep the paths free of vegetation so feel free to take home any plants we have to dig out of the gravel paths!
Materials to bring: Gardening gloves, trowel or handheld hoe, kneeling pad, water bottle, empty containers with soil if you plan to take wandering plants home, etc.

Directions: From the intersection of 14 and 47, head north on 47, left on Lake Ave, and left on Dick Tracy Way and park along the road.
