Milpa Garden Planting

Join us as we welcome Gina Roxas, Potawatomi and Executive Director of the Trickster Cultural Center, to the Apple Creek Food Forest. Gina will share her wisdom about Indigenous gardening and practices, as well as guide us as we prepare the land for planting our first Milpa garden at the Food Forest. Dress for the weather and to get messy. Light refreshments will follow the demonstration. Parking at the site is limited, you may need to park within the Apple Creek subdivision, a short walk from the demonstration space.
