Pollinator Garden Planting at Thompson Rd. Farm
June 4 @ 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm
Native plants help make the world a better place!
TLC has received a grant from Nicor Gas’ Environmental Stewardship program to plant a pollinator garden at Thompson Road Farm in Woodstock. We have a beautiful selection of native plants, but could use some extra hands to plant them!
TLC will pre-drill holes for planting, so trowels/shovels shouldn’t be necessary. If you’d like to help out, bring a kneeling pad (if you have one), gloves, and drinking water. It would also be beneficial to wear a hat and sunscreen because we will be working in a sunny area.
Please register so we can notify you in case of a weather cancellation – or just feel free to wing it and show up! Thank you!
