Seneca Marsh Restoration Workday

We made a huge dent in clearing the invasive brush from the north side of the pond but there’s still plenty of brush to tackle so we’ll continue chipping away at the other surrounding areas. There’s mostly buckthorn and honeysuckle that still needs to be removed. David will be there with his trusty Kubota to tackle the big branches and mow the little stuff.
Directions: From Woodstock, take South Street southwest out of town and over 14. After you cross 14, take the first right (north) into the Westwood subdivision. This part is a bit tricky! Turn left onto Moraine Drive, turn left onto Westwood Trail, continue left onto Westwood Trail, go past Hillside Trail and take the next left onto Seneca Ct. Then turn right at the T and you can park on the side of the road by the natural area.
