Thompson Road Farm Tour

The Village of Bull Valley, the Land Conservancy of McHenry County and the Bull Valley Riding Club invite you to a tour of this remarkable 275-acre property that has been preserved through a public-private partnership at the headwaters of Boone Creek.
The property has five miles of equestrian trails that will be opened to the public for riding, walking, hiking and other activities once parking and a trail head are established.
We will take a short hike to the picnic area where you will get a great view of the entire property. We will have ATVs available too.
Please enter the property through the gate west of 9505 Thompson Road (white farm house, midway between Cold Springs Rd. and Route 120). There will be a sign and the gate will be open.
Drive back along the lane and park near the other vehicles. Please carpool as much as possible as parking is limited.
