Windy Knoll Restoration Workday

Come join us for a brush clearing workday at Windy Knoll! This site holds a thriving mix of wetland and prairie plant species that in turn support a wide diversity of animals and insects. There will be lots of American plum to watch out for as we make our way through the dense brush. We’ll be cutting in a break along the east boarder of the southern parcel which will make it easier to mow in burn breaks.

Directions: From the intersection of 176 and Walkup Road in Crystal Lake, head north on Walkup for 3 miles. Continue north onto Crystal Lake Road for another 0.8 miles. Turn left onto Raintree Dr, continue around the curve then turn right onto Sweet Bay Drive. Parking is along the street
