Irish Oaks Restoration Workday

We’re hoping this will be the last workday clearing the western most boundary along the crop field. We’ll have the mini skid out with the grapple to move the big trees that still need to come down and the big hickory that fell last year. If everything goes well this will be the location for our New Year’s Eve Oak Rescue!

Directions: From Rt. 14 in Harvard, take Brink St east for 1.7 miles. Turn right (south) onto Schultz Rd and continue for 0.3 miles. Turn left (east) onto Lincoln Rd, and continue for 0.5 miles. The entrance to the site will be on the right (south) and is a gravel lane between a wooded fencerow and a hayfield. We’ll park at the kiosk and walk along the farm field.
