Seed Sharing Day

Open to TLC members, Seed Sharing Day is an annual event organized by TLC and hosted by a number of landowners. This is an opportunity for people to collect and share native seed for their prairie, savanna and wet habitats. Beginners are encouraged to join landowners to collect native plant seed. An area of pre-collected, labelled seed will also be available with experts there to help you choose the right species. If you have it, bring your own labelled seed to share. Stay for the delicious potluck lunch and informal discussion on topics such as tried-and-true methods of site preparation!
